tomorrow marks the day of hycb. whether are we forever a silver band or are we not. we may drop to bronze or we may keep our silver, it depends. we don't know what are the judges finding tomorrow, we are not them, we don't know how will they judge. i will definately give my best shot as i don't want to regret. to some people, this is the last SYF you have or the 1st SYF you have. whatever it is, just give your best shot, not everybody has a second chance because time don't wait for us. silver, that's all i wish for. it will be a memorable day for me tomorrow; having SYF and birthday together on the same day.

29th march 2009
my first birthday celebration this year. i invited my primary school friends over and it is also a reunion for us. we chatted and caught up with one another and talked about our silly things in our primary school days.seriously, i enjoyed myself a lot and hopped to have more outings in future!

had sws practice today. it was brought forward to today because mr rasull has westwind concert tomorrow. had sectional at around 2 plus and ended at around 3 near 4pm. homed at around 4 plus. bubble tea again,lol. it's been ages since i had milk tea. i know my blog is plain and my life seems lifeless. fed not, i'll update pics tomorrow because my primary school friends are coming over to my house for steamboat tomorrow! it's a reunion! it's been so long since i last met that lee wei hua and lincoln tan! and also, mum bought an oven as a birthday gift for me!! i've been wanting it for so long and finally she buys it.

5 more days to syf!! it was about band for the past 2 days. we had our frist night practice i assume. yup, everything was so last minute. whether will we improve or not, we don't know. but usually, last minute thing doesn't shows result. not trying to be a wet blanket, but be realistic.

it was never easy being a leader or whatever. yup, getting talked behind our back by people and getting scolded is what we had. but have anybody think why? there's always a reason behind everything. i'm not those unreasonable ones who does thing because of personal feelings. i go according what is written on the book, that's me.

was unable to go online yesterday because there's problem with my internet. called up singnet and finally it's done. band practice as usual yesterday. it ended at 6.30 and we left school at 7.10. friday practice is changed to 6pm in the evening. it's kind of a miracle from our band members' expression and i agreed with that too.lol! lessons as usual today. nothing special. went home straight after school and napped.

ssssssssssscccccccchhhhhoooooolllllll was boring! i'm still quite in my holiday mood actually. 1 week is seriously not enough at all. didn't really pay attention in class today. social studies lesson is always boring. i don't really like the teacher. i know she does not like me too, she's bias because i'm a retainee.don't tell me she catch me because it's for my own good, that's totally rubbish.she once sent me down to mr razark because she said that my skirt is short, especially at the back. doesn't she have a butt? blah, whatever. i don't give a shit about her because she's crazy. well, nobody likes her actually, boo! lol. sectional after school. bubble tea-ed with eunice and nicholas after that then homed.

11 more days to my birthday as well as syf!
after a day of slacking and blog hopping, i finally find back what i want and i lost it for a few days. that is, passion and my love for my clarinet. girlfriends, call me clarinetisit1314 all you want.LOL!
and if you can read what i post, ignore it. i wasn't in any mood just now.

don't ask me what i've posted because i don't want people to know anything. i prefer to keep this to myself this time.

i'm rotting at home since morning. holiday ends today; no more waking up late and staying up late till midnight to use computer or whatever. i've survived 3 months of school. it marks a new term now, N level is nearing once again. the same fear i had one year ago. thinking back, i still feel sour inside. all my close friends will be leaving me next year. they'll be gone, i cannot run up to floor 4 to find and crap with them. i know i seldom do that now because i was in class most of the time and they have their own lessons. but it's alright, i'm getting use to the class i have now. though im not close with them, they're really funny and kind people. i know i don't say bye to them when i see them. it's because i'm shy la. LOL! seriously.
i've been wondering and asking myself these few days; just where has my passion gone to? i found myself lazy to practise, not as enthu as last time. i don't know. it's such a disappointment. i used to be very enthu. such that my friends gave me nickname like clarinetist1314. is it because of the post i'm holding now makes me attend every practices? or is it because i'm use to life like this? or i still have passion inside me? or is it because of responsibility? i don't know. i enjoyed playing music, it makes me calm down and relax.i love playing songs that has a lot of running notes, i find it very thrilling and challenging. sometimes things are just so complicated. maybe my juniors hate me for shouting and scolding them sometimes. but look, this is my job, do you think i love to scold people that much? if anything goes wrong, majors are always the one who got scolded. but did anybody feel bad about it? put yourself in our shoes, when we asked you to move, did you move immediately? did you stop playing your instruments after hearing us or do you continue playing? ask yourself. i'm not referring to anybody, i'm just saying out stuffs which i've noticed very long ago. i know people may be unhappy about it, maybe you're the one who starts moving everytime you hear me but majority does not. before feeling anything, ask yourself. will you be the same as us when you're given a task or when you asked them to do things and they does not obey.

band in the morning again. i'm feeling damn exhausted, waking up so early in the morning and sleeping late. the weather was damn bloody hot that i can't take it and switched on my air con. gone through die fledermaus and overture as usual. kind of bored of the song but i'm gonna bear for 2 more weeks. i want to play noah's ark, ross roy and chinese spring overture. after band went with sheryl and liza to jurong east to meet up with hui min and eunice. thanks sheryl and liza for the lunch! =D discussed awhile and started chatting,lol. eunice liang joined after that. then went imm to meet up with nicholas while liza and sheryl went home. walked around, accompanied them for their dinner then homed.


i hate telling lies, especially to my love ones.

my blogger is such a bastard. it's giving me problem again. ya, i know i will scold my blog at least once in a month. you must know, my blog is a girl, she has her own pms. (crap)

sometimes it's not about me not saving money but you taking money from me. saving and giving you does not add up the amount i have in my bank. so i don't bother saving up sometimes. i don't want to tell you because i respect you, i don't want to hurt you.

friday
had school as ususal. band practice was cancelled because there was almost band the whole week and the teachers-in-charge want us to rest. went out with vivian after school. homed, changed and off to jurong point to meet her. accompanied her to cut her hair and off to haji lane. went OG to find the OG stuffs first then walked to bugis. met nicholas on our way there. window shopped,took photos and homed. pics were already posted on the previous post.

saturday
woke up at 5.45 to go to school to make the band notice board. reached school at 6.45 to paste the band arrangement and touch up on somethings. went up to bandroom to set up my instruments, collect blazer and tie then down to hall to set up the place. we had to go up to the bandroom and wait for the presentation to finish then keep the chairs and carry up the instruments. off to eat kfc with chaoxiang, sihui and zavier. chiong-ed home to change and off to meet christine. took bus 51 to bugis(again) for shopping and accompanied her to search for her bag. bought all the stuffs which i wanted very long ago. cheryl joined us at around 3+. took bus 51 to jurong east and changed to bus 198. we chatted alot and there was alot of catching up within the 3 of us.


sunday
went for sws practice in the morning and off the jurong point to meet valerie after practice. had long john for lunch. intended to go ikea to look for her cutains but it was raining very heavily so cancelled it and homed. slept till 5.30 and dad cooked chicken chop for dinner. chatted on the phone with melissa tang just now. looks like she's enjoying herself alot over there. hopefully my parents would allow me to fly over to sydney to find her. i want to experience life over there during every searson. since she's staying over there for 5 years, i can go every year during each season to find her. but from the ans my dad gave me just now, the chance is only 1%.

NICHOLAS IS SHORT!

it was band again after school.lol, sooner or later, i'll find band kind of boring. i enjoy playing music, i enjoy hanging out with my bandmates and seeing how my juniors play with each other. i enjoyed everything i have with them. nope, maybe not bored of it. maybe it is almost everyday that changed my mindset. band is some kind of my daily routine i find. it is already part of my schedule. even when there is no band, i'll be practising at home for at least 1 hour. not to worry, i won't pon any practice even after syf. i got a duty to hold, i can't be irresponsible. anyway, back to life. my dad is such a *&^%$#!@. he doesn't want to catch the bug when i asked him to and when he caught it, he kept putting the bug nearer and nearer to me that made me scream at the top of my lungs and i cried.

i was going boon lay market place for dinner with family yesterday and i got very pissed off by 3 ladies. nope, i should call them aunties. they saw me waiting for them to get up from their seats and they just kept talking and talking. like wtf?! put yourself in my shoes, would you like to stand there and wait and the people eating on the table are eating extremely slow. tell me, how to not pissed off? they literally eat as slowly as they could and talked as much as they can. one of the aunties may have noticed my black and sulky face and she asked them to go. one of the aunties still have the cheek to ask 'why?' idiot! why your stupid cb shit, cant you see i'm waiting for your bloody big ass to get off the seats? i think schools should not only teach students how to be gracious, they should imply it onto adults. chinese always got this saying 'shang liang bu zheng xia liang wai'. so it means that if you have a child, your child will also be like you, ungracious singaporeans. im not saying that i'm very gracious, but at least i try to finish my food asap when i see people waiting for my seats. come on la, why act until so aunty? i bet you're those who run and squeezed up the bus to get the first seats or maybe worst, help your friend to 'book' the seat for them and shout to them across the bus. WOW! aunties can be amazing.

my blog is kind of empty with the lack of photos so i just put this up. this girl has rashes over her legs and she got 2 days mc. take lots of care, WA NI.

didn't attend school today because my headache acted up yesterday afternoon. it was so pain that i almost bang my head on the wall, no joke. it's called something like 'mygrain'. i don't know the actual spelling but it is pronounced as that. elder bro is going for his national service today. bro, you're gonna be a father of a 2 years old child after your NS. all the best to you! hold your temper in there.

it was band for the past 3 days. next week is seriously band the whole week. mon have sectional, tues and fri have band, wed and thurs have speech day rehearsal, sat is speech day and i have sws on sun. back to thurs, sectional after school and followed by playing volleyball with eunice. fri was band after school also and we, eunice, jasmin, si hui and christopher went imm to get the exchange gifts for sat which is today.
took taxi to school today because i carried 4 big bags of plastic bags to school. surprisingly, i reached at 7. welcomed the schools in the foyer. the whole thing ended at around 1. no pics were taken as i was really exhausted. had mac after that with eunice, jiao jun, nicholas, zavier, christopher and jasmin. nicholas and i went to eunice house after that. planned to go out after eunice went home to take her money but we ended up slacking infront of her comp while nicholas was sleeping on her sofa. left her house at around 7.30. walked to westmall, bought bubble tea and homed.

just reach home from jurong point with christine and sook yee. helped out amanda after school with the collection of empty bottles. left school at around 3 to go home and change. met christine at 4 and bought 2 marley and me movie tickets. it was funny in the beginning and touching in the end when the dog is dying. a few audience cried. the show last for 2 hours. met sook yee at kopitiam at around 6.30. dinner-ed, walked about and homed.

syf day for hua yi is on 1st April, 11.45am. if you remember, 1st april is my birthday. i was telling a few of my friends that hopefully syf won't be on my birthday but who knows, it was on my birthday. why wasn't it on 30th or 31st or 2nd april onwards? lol! luckily it is on wed so we can have a little practice on tues.

MY VOICE IS BACK!! lessons as per normal. volleyball-ed after sectional with eunice and chao xiang. chao xiang left at around 5 then eunice and i continued till 6. bubble tea-ed and home. should i cut my fringe short? but not bangs.

come upon to a few blogs and i'm glad that most of the bloggers enjoyed the band performance though some people might find it boring. but still, thanks for paying attention to us during our performance though there're a handful who are sleeping or playing psp.

friday (27 feb 09)
attended school as usual and had normal lessons till 10am. met eunice in the toilet and changed into our band uniform. went up to the hall to set up the chair formation then up to band room to set up my instruments.eunice and i had our breakfast at around 11 plus then had practice. went through a few concert songs and had to pack up to go acs barker road. reached there at around 2+ and started to take pics. the actual rehearsal started at around 3 then the others went to have their dinner while the band members stayed back for practice. ate our dinner at around 6 and had to go up to so called 'hide'. had attire check then camwhore-d. our performance started at around 7 plus to 8. overall, it's not bad i find. it is better than the previous two i had. at least we didn't break down that much.well done and good job hycb! thanks vivian,melissa, valerie, nicholas, alex, benard, chun cheong, mun wah, benedict, evan and hui fang! for coming and vivian,valerie, melissa, evan,mun wah, benard, elieen, jasmine, melissa tang,melanie for the flowers especially melissa tang! though you're not in s'pore, you still asked boon si to pass us flowers. the whole band squeezed into one bus because of some problem. good job and well done to all the performing arts! reached home at around 12 midnight. lost my voice the next day.
